Illustrò questa casa Elena, religiosa clarissa, morta nel 1230 ed elevata agli onori degli altari col titolo di beata nel 1695. Africano, suo padre, morì nel carcere detto la Malta, vittima del terzo Eccelino. Enselmino, di Bartolomeo, podestà di Civital di Belluno nel 1278. Numerosi autori della famiglia descrissero eventi e personaggi, attribuirono ad essa varie origini senza alcuna valida attestazione.
