Maria del Monte, Stadera, Tassara, Trevozzo, comunelli in Val Tidone (Piacenza) da D. Ferdinando di Borbone con decr. da Colorno del 1801. Il capostipite nato in Aragona nel 1731 è una delle più belle figure della diplomazia europea del secondo settecento. Inviato a Roma nel 1765 sotto Clemente XIII, come rappresentante del re cattolico, esercitò grande influenza sotto Clemente XIV e Pio VI. Il suo efficace intervento per ristabilir l'ordine e difendere la vita dei francesi nei torbidi romani, in cui perì Ugo Basville, gli acquistò molte diffidenze; il duca stesso di Parma lo accusava presso il duca d'Alcudia di antigesuitismo e giacobinismo.
