Nobility crown BarberaAntique chevalerie d'Auvergne (1181). Bernard fut admis en 1200 comme chanoine-comte du noble chapitre de Brioude. Un autre membre de cette maison était en 1278, précepteur et maitre de la léproserie de la Bajasse près Vieil-Brioude. Pierre-Simon vivait en 1323. Delphine est dite femme en 1368, de noble Jean de Rochefort seigneur de la Roche près Brioude. Agnès épouse de Pons de Langeac, de concert avec d'autres membres de sa famille, constitue une rente en directe pour la rétribution de six autels fondés dans l'église de la Chaise-Dieu l'an 1391.
