Una di queste si trasferì a Gubbio negli albori del XV secolo con Valerio che nel 1537 era quarto console nel bimestre di luglio e agosto; un Polidoro fu dotto giureconsulto del XVI secolo; Fabio fu tesoriere generale di Odoardo II duca di Parma, Marcantonio e Guidobalbo furono poeti e letterati che fiorirono con grande fortuna nelle corti di Parma e Urbino; Carlo fu valoroso capitano nel 1640. Questo primo ramo si estinse verso la fine del XVII secolo. Nel 1725 la famiglia fu aggregata al patriziato eugobino; Roberto di Fabrizio fu gonfaloniere nel 1757. La famiglia è iscritta nel libro d'oro con i titoli di nobile di Gubbio e di Montalto (mf.) in persona di Filippo.
