Di questo casato esisteva, nel 1528, in Genova, una famiglia, che alcuni vogliono proveniente dalla valle di Fontanabuona, altri dall'Albengano, la quale in quell'anno, nelle ricostruzioni degli Alberghi, venne aggregata all'albergo Spinola.
