Percioché Guglielmo cognominato Bisceglia, fu Capitan Generale delle genti di Ré Carlo I in Toscana alla venuta di Ré Corradino, con l'esercito del quale venuto a battaglia sotto Ponte a Valle rimase rotto, e valorosamente combattendo, in man de nemici prigione.
