Filippo Bonguida fu gentiluomo assai stimato e caro alla Regina Bianca, vivendo con grande onore ed elevazione nella Real Corte. Da lui nacque Guglielmo, che tenne il titolo di Barone del feudo di Morogrosso, detto altresì Montegrosso; a costui succedette il figlio Girolamo, e quindi il figlio di questi, Guglielmo, nell'anno del Signore 1530. Dopo di lui, nell'anno 1540, ereditò il feudo il figlio Girolamo, dal quale infine derivò Antonio Bonguida, comunemente appellato Don Guida, Barone di Mongrosso. Il predetto Filippo fu figliuolo di Giulio, Proveditore del Regio Palazzo sotto il regno di Re Martino, il quale aveva acquistato i feudi di Cadedi e Bulaleti. Questi beni furono da lui destinati in dote alle sue figlie: il feudo di Cadedi venne assegnato a Pompea, maritata con Rinaldo di Ricca, e quello di Bulaleti alla figlia Filippa, sposa di Giovanni Nicolò di Pompeo, stabilendo tuttavia che i frutti di tali feudi fossero goduti in comune dalle due sorelle.
