Nobility crown BorsariNobile e ragguardevole famiglia di Finale Emilia, di chiara ed avita virtù, con importanti nuclei anche in Bologna ed in Modena, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia. Sin dal secolo decimosettimo, questo casato è annoverato tra quelli consolari del Finale. Ivi un Giuseppe Borsari innalzò un grandioso palazzo in via Frassoni, ancora oggi tra le costruzioni architettonicamente più interessanti della Bassa modenese. Questa nobile famiglia, la cui iniziale fortuna si ebbe grazie al commercio del grano, era inscritta nell'antico Libro d'oro della comunità del Finale, andato purtroppo distrutto per opera dei rivoluzionari. Il 19 gennaio 1825, un ramo dei Borsari fu reinserito nel nuovo Libro d'oro, riaperto per disposizione sovrana del 17 febbraio 1816.
