Nobility crown BoschettoAntichissima ed assai nobile famiglia prosapia italiana, con insediamenti principali in Emilia ed in Lombardia, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, anche in altre regioni d'Italia. Anticamente conosciuta come Buschetti, poi anche Boschetto o Boschetti, la leggenda vuole che sia stato suo capostipite Manfredo, conte di Milano, morto nell'897. Tuttavia, le prime notizie certe si hanno riguardo ad un Gherardo De B., presente ad un placito tenuto da Enrico V, nel 1116. Da questo Gherardo nacque Boschetto che fu console di Modena negli anni 1171, 1174 e 1178. Figlio di Boschetto fu un altro Gherardo, pure console di Modena nel 1200. I membri di questa famiglia parteciparono sempre attivamente al reggimento della città di Modena e molto si distinsero nelle crudeli e sanguinose lotte delle fazioni. Appartennero alla fazione guelfa detta degli Aigoni, della quale, coi Rangoni, furono tra i principali. Nel Medio Evo, alla patria, dettero tre vescovi: Alberto (1234-1264), ...

Blasone della famiglia Boschetto ricostruito da un disegno presente nell'opera "Raccolta di armi gentilizie di varie città e famiglie nobili d'Italia, parte solo tratteggiati a penna, e parte anche acquerellate" conservata presso la Biblioteca Nazionale di Roma nei manoscritti del fondo Vittorio Emanuele.

Inquartato: nel primo e quarto d'oro, all'aquila bicipite di nero coronata dello stesso; nel secondo e terzo fasciato d'argento e di rosso, col capo d'azzurro; sul tutto, di rosso, cimato di un breve motto in calligrafia tedesca Nichts Mehr, alla graticola di nero, bucata d'argento. Lo scudo accollato a due trivelle al naturale, manicate d'oro, passate in croce di S. Andrea.
