La branche de la Villepelote fondue vers 1562 dans la Chapelle; Jean, archer de la garde du duc en 1477, père de Jean, marié à Anne du Pou; un page du Roi en 1755. La branche du Grégo éteinte en 1826; deux conseillers au parlement depuis 1598. Fondu en 1655 dans la Bourdonnaye. Un capitaine de Fontenay-le-Comte en 1500, maître d'hôtel du maréchal de Gyé. La branche de Poulriguen fondue au XVI siècle dans Quélen. Il serait superflu de rappeler ici tout ce qui a été écrit sur le blason, sur la noblesse et sur l'origine du nom de cette famille. Nous ne saurions mieux faire que de vous indiquer l'introduction de Pol Potier de Coursy en tête de son ouvrage "Nobiliaire et Armorial de Bretagne", qui a eu l'approbation de toutes les personnes compétentes en cette matière.
