In particolare, una sua diramazione giunse in Italia ed ivi vide talvolta mutata la propria cognominizzazione in Bracchi e Bracci. Troviamo pertanto nobili insediamenti dei B. in Lodi, ove furono di parte ghibellina e diedero dieci decurioni alla Patria, in Cesena, in Pisa ed in Firenze e nel Regno di Napoli. Il ramo passato in Sicilia si distinse soprattutto per i numerosi giuristi e uomini d'armi a cui diede i natali: Pietro, Antonio e Gio.
