Fra i personaggi che lo illustrarono, si ricordano Pietro Francesco, questore nel 1561, ed i di lui figli, ossia Teodoro, cavaliere dell'Ordine di Malta, Carlo, da cui si generò il ramo dei conti di Pavia, e Ludovico, cavaliere dell'Ordine di Santo Stefano, nel 1590.
