Giulio giureconsulto e poeta, fu podestà di Genova e morì nel 1593; Matteo-Maria podestà di Modena nel 1564; Flaminio podestà di Baiso nel 1617, di Soliera nel 1619, di Castelnuovo ne' Monti nel 1622, di Monozzo nel 1624, capitano di ragione a Camporgiano nel 1626, poi a Nonantola, e finalmente commissario di Sassuolo nel 1633. Questa famiglia fu investita nel XVII secolo di Sordiglia e Banzola con titolo comitale.
