Nobility crown DAntica e nobile famiglia originaria di San Chirico Raparo, nel Lagonegrese, i cui avi avevano un "rango distinto", sotto il regno di Filippo III. Nell'archivio della famiglia, di Palazzo San Gervasio, vi sono due pergamene, l'una datata 8 luglio 1607 e l'altra, datata 28 agosto 1714, che testimoniano la fondazione di due cappellanie laicali, da parte della famiglia d'Errico, in San Chirico Raparo, intitolate rispettivamente a San Carlo Borromeo e a Santa Maria del Carmine, entrambe gentilizie e con ricche donazioni. Da un'altra pergamena, datata 1607, rileviamo che Don Felice D'Errico, eletto dall'università di San Chirico Raparo, insieme ad altri componenti della medesima, alienava vari dazi e gabelle a un certo Bernardino Guarnaccia, in corrispettivo di un capitale ricevuto per i bisogni di San Chirico.
