Nobility crown De BrieTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Anseau accompagna Foulques d'Anjou en Palestine en 1129, lorsqu'il vint épouser Melissindre, reine de Jérusalem; Guillaume, évêque de Rennes puis de Dol, mort en 1390; Jean, abbé de Blanche-Couronne en 1314; Jean, tué à la bataille de Poitiers en 1356, marié à Jeanne de Dreux, dame de Saquenville; Ponthus, abbé de Saint-Meen en 1543. La seigneurie de Brie successivement possédée par les maisons de Tournemines et Le Bigot, a été érigée en marquisat l'an 1660 en faveur de François Loaisel, président à mortier et a passé depuis aux Cahideuc, aux Sarsfield et aux de Langle-Beaumanoir. La branche de Serrant éteinte vers 1600; la seigneurie de Serrant a été successivement possédée depuis par acquêt par les familles Sardini, Maillard, Rohan-Montbazon, Bautru et Walsh; la branche de Fourneux éteinte en 1814. Les seigneurs de la Sorinière et de la Bernadière, de mêmes noms et armes, maintenus à l'intendance de Tours en 1660 ont produit un page de Roi en 1762, mort en 1814. ...
