Nobility crown Di BiellaOriginari da Milano. Felice fu insigne giureconsulto (deceduto 1839), cavaliere dell'Impero Austriaco e dell'ordine imperiale di Leopoldo. Al figlio di questi, Giovanni Battista (deceduto 1902), primo presidente di Corte d'Appello, con sovrana risoluzione 5 aprile 1857 veniva concessa la nobiltà austriaca. Con Decreto Ministeriale 27 aprile 1886 egli otteneva il riconoscimento della nobiltà stessa. I Di Biella, estinti per la linea mascolina, sono iscritti nell'Elenco Ufficiale col titolo di "nobile" per mf., ora personale per le femmine superstiti: Giuseppina in Gavazzi, Cristina in Morandi, Carolina in Lado Manca e Beatrice in Alfieri. Altro ramo. La sede vescovile fu fondata con Bolla pontificia 1 giugno 1772, soppressa all'epoca francese il 1 giugno 1803 e riconstituita il 17 giugno 1817.
