Nobility crown FaFamilie ursprünglich aus Fontanile, die sich dann auf Casale Monferrato, Mantua und Alessandria ausbreitete. Er hatte 1580 einen Ritter von Malta, Ferdinand, eine Zeit, in der sich die Familie bereits in einem hohen Zustand befand. Der bekannte Vorfahr ist Gian Matteo aus Fontanile, der bereits 1539 starb, Vater von Ardizzino, Senator (1545-62) und Generalkapitän der Justiz in Casale (1562). Sein Sohn Horace kaufte das Lehen von Bruno von den Scarampi und erhielt am 24. März 1588 einen Adelstitel. Ein Jahrzehnt später, am 15. April 1598, wurde die Fehde in der Grafschaft zugunsten seines Sohnes Ortensio, Prätor von Mantua, errichtet und Senator, starb ohne Nachkommen. Ihm folgte sein Bruder Ardizzino (Dezember 1617), Gouverneur von Trino, und wie sein Bruder Senator. Ortensio verdient besondere Erwähnung seiner Söhne, die 1642 unversehrt starben und am 11.
