La chiara nobiltà della casata risulta confermata dalla sua presenza in alcune delle più importanti opere araldiche, come "Il Patriziato Subalpino" del barone Antonio Manno (1834-1918), letterato, critico e filologo piemontese, corposo lavoro dedicato alla storia delle grandi famiglie dello Stato sabaudo, con notizie storiche e descrizioni dei blasoni. Il ramo piemontese di questa famiglia ha dato i natali al capitano Giovanni Fulcheri, il quale fu investito di Castelnovo di Nizza, in data 4 febbraio 1671.
