Ascanio was prefect of Nice on June 28, 1635. Federico, Gian Filippo, Filippo Emanuele and Giovanni Antonio were captains of militias in the seventeenth century. Giovanni Angelo, superintendent and registrar of mortgages in Nice, was created Count of San Giuseppe on 26 April 1833, with the transferability to his brother. At his death the title passed to his brother Carlo Giuseppe who was captain of the hunters of Nice, who then took service in Austria and that was also commander of Piacenza.
