Mai 1772 und Heinrich Christian, Literatus", und seit 18. April 1788 Besitzer von Winckelmannshof iLL, das er 8. März 1796 auf 90 Jahre für 20 000 Thlr. verpfändete, Söhne des Pastors zu St. Johannes: Matthias Holst (aus der Ehe mit Ursula Elisabeth, Tochter des Oberpastors Nathanael V. Skideyski in Riga) erhielten den Reichsund erbländischen Adelstand d.d. Wien 17. November 1789. Ihr Grossvater, der Aelteste und Mitglied des adligen Stadtraths zu Riga, Lorenz Christian Holst, war aus Rostock eingewandert und starb 1746. Erstgenannter Heinrich Christian V. Holst (geb. 1763 + 1812) studirte anfangs Theologie, wurde dann Landwirth und erwarb Barbarowa im Minskschen Gouvernement.
