Noblesse qui a pour auteur Bernard Jurquet, témoin des donations faites par les seigneurs d'Apchon et de Brezons, pour la fondation du monastère de St-Flour (996-1004). André et Rigald Jurquet sont bienfaiteurs du même monastère en 1053. Bernard Jurquet est chanoine-comte de Brioude (1200); Rigald Jurquet de Combrelles chanoine-comte du même chapitre en 1290. Armand Jurquer, seigneur de Combrelles, est inscrit à l'armorial de 1450. La branche de Monjésieu a été maintenue en Languedoc, le12 septembre 1669 et convoquée à l'assemblée de la sénéchaussée de Mende en 1789. La branche des seigneurs de la Feuille et de Parlan a été maintenue en Auvergne le 22 décembre 1666. A ce nom, on attribue un signe distinctif de noblesse représenté par le blason que l'on a reproduit ci-contre et qui confirme aussi à travers ses emblêmes, au point de vue historique et héraldique la certitude d'une valeur remarquable.
