Jean, lieutenant du bailli du Vivarais, au siège de Boucieu, figure sous ce titre à l'Assiette projetée de Tournon, du 28 janvier 1563. Il est envoyé de Tournon au parlement de Toulouse, en 1598, pour l'affaire des Jésuites. François, procureur du Roy au bailliage de Boucieu, fait un rapport sur les fonctionnaires protestants, en juin 1569. Noble Jean, sieur de La Garde, capitaine au régiment de M. le comte de Roussillon, eut de Catherine de Bosas. Louis, seigneur de La Garde, de la ville de Tournon, qui fut condamné par défaut, lors de la recherchecontre les usurpateurs des titres de noblesse, le 8 octobre 1698. Il avait épousé vers 1690 Marguerite-Alexandrine de Galbert, fille de Messire René de galbert, seigneur des Fonds. De leur mariage naquirent Just-Louis, né en 1696, qui mourut à Saint-Péray en 1743, et Gabriel qui ne laissa que deux filles qui ne contractèrent pas d'alliance et vivaient à Tournon en 1783. Il avait été marié en premières noces à Françoise-Louise de Mazet dont Catherine de La Garde morte à Saint-Péray, le 30 septembre1792, à 60 ans; elle était alors veuve du sieur L'Hérisse ou Leyrisse. En 1690 noble Antoine de galbert fait une donation à noble Louise, sieur de La Garde, ancien capitaine d'une compagnie de chevau-légers dans le régiment de Piémont. Vers la même époque, noble Paul de Galbert, seigneur des Fonds, habitant audit lieu, paroisse de Toulaud, fait une donation, en faveur de sa soeur, dame Alexandrine de Galbert, épouse de noble Louis, sieur de La Garde. ...
