Famiglia sassarese le cui notizie risalgono al secolo XVI. Nel 1420 ottennero il riconoscimento della generosità con un Barisone. Egli, nel 1421, fu podestà di Sassari e, nel 1425, ottenne in feudo Tadasini. Nel 1438, suo figlio Angelo, sposatosi con una Centelles, ebbe una parte della baronia di Osilo che poco dopo acquistò completamante. Nel 1443 acquistò la baronia del Coghinas. Nel 1444 Angelo fu ambasciatore di Sassari a Napoli e qui combattè per Alfonso V. In seguito per far fronte ai bediti, nel 1447, dovette rivendere Osilo ai Centelles. Nel 1469 la baronia del Coghinas fu data in dote alla sua unica figlia Antonia. A Sassari continuarono a risiedere i rami non feudali della famiglia che vi mantennero una discreta posizione. Nel 1520 un Gavino, per i suoi meriti militari, ottenne il cavalierato ereditario. Nel 1527, però, i suoi cugini Cano Pala, furono spstettati di connivenza durante il tentativo ...
