Die ersten Erinnerungen an Prato stammen aus dem Jahr 1200. Auch in Prato gibt es das "Sepulchrum D. Meliorati de Melioratis civis Florentini et eius descendentium. Anno Domini MDLXXI". Ein weiteres altes Begräbnis in der Kirche S. Croce in Florenz trägt die oben beschriebene Waffe. In Prato waren Sie einst ein Bezirk namens Improved. Die selige Elia, Sohn von Migliorato dei Migliorati, blühte um 1200 auf und arbeitete mit einigen Gefährten zusammen, um den Orden der Augustiner zu unterzeichnen. Note: Famiglia originaria di Prato. Migliorato di ser Piero Migliorati ottenne la cittadinanza fiorentina nel 1556. Lo stemma del 1° tipo è quello più usuale ed è quello utilizzato per l'ammissione di Cosimo di Pompeo e di Giovanni Domenico di Giovanni Migliorati alla nobiltà fiorentina e a quella pratese nel 1765. Lo stemma del 3° tipo è riportato dal Ms.476 per Giovanni Battista di Migliorato Migliorati, podestà di Greve, 1603. Il capo di Santo Stefano si trova nello stemma del cavaliere Giovanni Migliorati (cfr. Filze di armi gentilizie, inizi XVIII sec.).
