Alla sua morte, i di lui beni passarono ai figli della propria sorella Domenica moglie di Domenico Soli, che furono il dottore Gianfrancesco, autore di pregiati scritti e della vita del suo illustre zio materno, e che fu archivista segreto ducale, ed il dottore Antonio-Fortunato, il quale da Vignola aveva trapiantato, vivente lo zio, la propria famiglia in Modena. Questi due fratelli Soli assunsero il cognome Muratori per concessione sovrana del 3 febbraio 1750. La famiglia M. de Soli fu ascritta al patriziato modenese, di cui già godeva la cittadinanza, il 9 aprile 1817. ...
