Maison d'ancienne chevalerie. Berceau: le fief de Nogaret relevant de Canillac (confins Gévaudan-Rouergue). Un seigneur de Nogaret-Trelans transige avec Nicolas de la Roque en 1303. Guillaume était seigneur de Trelans en 1372. Viennent ensuite: Pons (1402); Jean, chevalier, seigneur de Trelans (1455); Guillaume, seigneur de Trelans, marié vers 1470 à Suzanne d'Arpajon, d'où: Marguerite, mariée en 1491 à Guillaume de St-Bonnet-Thoiras. Pons était chamarier du monastère de Saint-Chaffre-du-Monastier en 1484; autre Pons, chanoine et préchantre du chapitre de St-Georges du Puy en 1536. Jean Nogaret seigneur de Trélans et de Durianne, fut le père de Guy, seigneur des mêmes terres en 1538. Celui-ci est dit cousin de Pons, écuyer, seigneur de Durianne, marié avant 1538 à Clauda Maurin, dame des Ollières. Le dit Pons fut assassiné par Aymard d'Espaly, seigneur de Ferraighne. Guigon, écuyer, seigneur de Durianne, son fils, et Clauda Maurin, sa veuve, consentirent en 1556, à l'élargissement et à la grâce d'Aymar d'Espaly, moyennant diverses aumônes. Guigon vivait encore en 1571. Marie Nogaret-Trelans (fille de François et de Renée de Lafont de Caumont) s'allia le 23 novembre 1670 à Henri de Lauzières-Thémines. Claudine-Renée de Nogaret-Trelans, dernière du nom, épousa en 1756 Pierre de Pons de la Grange, marquis de Frugières, seigneur de Ste-Florine, de Jumeaux, d'Auzat-sur-Allier, etc., capitaine de cavalerie, dont elle était veuve en 1789. ...
