Linaje de caballeros pobladores de la ciudad de Murcia. era originario de Aragón, puesto que de Aragón procedía el primero de este apellido que pasó a Murcia por orden del Rey don Jaime I el Conquistador a solicitud del Rey de Castilla don Alfonso X el Sabio, pues con motivo de no contar este Monarca con suficientes pobladores castelllanos por haber poblado con ellos Córdoba y Sevilla poco antes, y haber enviado otros para que poblaran en el reino de Murcia, pidió a su suegro, el mencionado Rey aragonés, que le ayudara en tal empresa. Los P., desde la llegada a Murcia de su primer ascendiente (que fué heredado en aquella ciudad como casi todos los que en la misma poblaron), gozaron de los oficios públicos y cargos distinguidos. Pascual P. era Regidor añal en el año de 1364. Fué muy estimado del Rey de Castilla don Pedro I el Cruel, según comprueban algunas cargas y cédulas que ese Monarca le dirigió y que tuvo ocasión de examinar en aquel Archivo don Francisco Cascales. Le sirvió con gran eficacia como Tesorero de aquel reino, y también en importantes acciones de guerra acaecidas en Murcia y en otros lugares. Defendió igualmente con decidido ardor la causa de don Pedro I, por lo que al morir éste le amenazó y persiguió su hermano don Enrique II el de las Mercedes, viéndose obligado a ausentarse de Murcia hasta que pasase el enojo del nuevo Monarca, que al fin le mandó volver, convencido de que la conducta de Pascual P. había sido la que correspondía a un buen vasallo. ...
