Nobility crown PinieuxTrès illustre maison de la Bretagne, d'une haute antiquité, dont les premiers auteurs connus sont: Gilles, seigneur du Baron, vivant en 1560 père de Louis, seigneur de la Chapelle, juge criminel de Rennes, qui obtint lettres de chevalerie en 1595, en considération des services rendus au Roi dans la reddition de la ville de Rennes; auteur des seigneurs de Pinieux qui existent encore et qui ont produit sept conseillers au parlement de 1645 à 1756, et un chevalier de Malte en 1788; de Jean, seigneur de la Jacopinière, auteur des seigneurs de la Driennais, de la Bothelleraye qui existent encore et de Guichen, dont un lieutenant-général des armées navales, en 1779, chevalier des ordres du Roi, décédé en 1790, dont la postérité s'est fondue en 1780, dans Lauzanne; de la branche de la Roche-Jouardais, confirmée en 1672. La branche de Guichen fondue en 1772 dans Talhouët. La branche de la Bothelleraye qui a relevé le nom de Guichen, a produit un chef d'escadron aux lanciers de la garde, gentilhomme de la chambre du Roi, créé comte par lettres de 1828. Titres nobiliaires de cette famille: anobli en 1, extraction simple (famille dont la filiation noble prouvée ne dépasse pas le XVIème siècle); vicomte de La Driennays en 1657, comte de Guichen en 1828. ...
