Nobility crown PratinoFamiglia oriunda da Moretta. Un Giacomo, che fu dottore, procreò Giuseppe, il quale era medico collegiato nella città di Torino. Ascese questa famiglia al fasto della nobiltà con Ferdinando, di Giambattista, il quale seguì con onore la carriera delle armi raggiungendo il grado di generale. Fu presidente del Tribunale Supremo di Guerra, e il 14 ottobre 1848 venne nominato senatore del Regno. Sposò Antonia Elisabetta Coller e ottenne il 2 novembre 1844 il titolo di conte già stato concesso a suo suocero, il presidente Gaspare Coller. Furono suoi figli Giambattista e Gaspare. Giambattista, il quale fu comandante dello squadrone Corazzieri, Guardie del Re, fu riconosciuto con D.M. del 18 aprile 1897 nel titolo comitale.
