La casa de los R. de Mallorca, que es la que aparece con mayor antigüedad, estaba en el lugar de Pina, por lo que fue llamada de R. de Pina. La casa catalana radicó en la villa de Camprodón, del partido judicial de Puigcerdá y provincia de Gerona. Ambas casas tenían igual escudo con ligera variación en sus esmaltes. La casa de los R. mallorquines, que primitivamente radicó en el lugar de Pina, fue trasladada a la ciudad de Palma y de ella procedió Jaime R., sacerdote mallorquín que, en el año 1363, figuró entre los diputados representantes del estado eclesiástico de la isla de Mallorca en las Cortes que convocó el rey aragonés don Pedro IV, y celebradas en la villa de Monzón, para tratar de la defensa de aquella isla contra las tropas de don Jaime IV y del rey de Castilla. A la casa catalana de la villa de Camprodón pertenecía en fines del siglo XVI Pedro de R., burgués y ciudadano honrado de Perpinyá, marido de doña Angela de Vallgornera, y ambos padres de Jerónimo de R. Vallgornera, que casó con doña María de Boixadors, señora de Alfarrás, naciendo de ese enlace Pedro de R. Boixadors, primer marqués de Alfarrás, desde 1702. ...
