Perche l'altro figlio Giovanne R, dopò la morte del Rè Ruberto recuperò nella Linguadoca i suoi effetti, e Castelli ne' quali seguì sua ampia posterità. Il predetto Filippo R. con la detta sua moglie Beltranda, procreò Alberico, Ugo, Carlo, e Guglielmo, che vissero in quel Principato con supremi carichi militari,. Dal detto Alberico R., e Gueralda Castellar sua moglie ne nacquero Bernardo e Guerao R., che fiorirono grandemente nell'arte militare. Il predetto Bernardo, procreò Guglielmo Alberico, e Gaspare, che militarono sotto il Rè Giayme il conquistatore Rè d'Aragona l'onde ne acquistaro alcuni Castelli, e Ville in quella Provincia, il cui figlio Pietro R., servendo il Rè Pietro d'Aragona di Cameriero, passò con quello all'acquisto del Regno di Sicilia nel 1282. dal quale poscia hebbe la Castellania, el governo della Terra Castello, e Casali di Iace nel medesimo anno, che l'hebbe confirmato suo figllio Antonio dal Rè Federico II. nel 1320. il quale si casò in Catania con Adriana de gl'Emporij nobile Catalana, che gli procreò Pietro Antonio, Francesco, e Federico R. paggio del Rè Pietro.
