Però Fico, non acconsentì a tale cessione, e mosse guerre ai cagliesi, i quali con l'aiuto dei perugini lo vinsero e lo privarono di tutti i beni. Da Bartolomeo, di Cola, di Niccolò, di Nicola, di Fico, ne vennero due figli: Andrea che fu prelato e vicario generale del patriarca di Aquileia; e Luigi, che morì nel 1513. Questi ricuperò il castello di Torricella con l'aiuto del fratello. e si stabilì a Fossombrone, dove per i suoi natali fu scritto subito a quella Nobiltà.
