Felice (1018) dal quale la famiglia trae il nome. Detto castello in Terra di Lavoro, appartenne poi con Piatravairano alla casa Grimaldi: La famiglia fu ricevuta nel S. M. O. di Malta nel 1583 con un Orazio (Arch. O. Malta, proc. 4796); con Giuseppe il 25 settembre 1626 (Arch. Stato di Napoli, vol. 31, Priorato di Barletta); e con altro Giuseppe il 15 maggio 1652 (Gr. Magistero Roma 217, Priorato di Napoli) e nell'Ordine S. Jago di Spagna nel 1544. I membri di tale famiglia hanno goduto nobiltà in Napoli, al seggio di Montagna, in Cosenza, il quale ramo si estinse, nel Cilento, in Perugia ed in Francia ove nel 1650 viveva un ramo. Possedette i feudi di Agromonte, S. Demetrio, Moliterno, ecc. ...
