Ancient and noble Spanish family, originally from Cantabria, of clear and ancestral virtue, that has worldwide spread, over the centuries. The clear nobility of this House is confirmed by its presence in the valuable heraldic work "Repertorio de blasones de la comunidad hispanica - letras S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z" by Vicente De Cadenas y Vicent. The first references to the family are in the expedition to the Balearic islands, more precisely in the conquest of Ibiza (August, 11, 1114) and Mallorca, at the dawn of 1115, finding some Serdios as crusader knights commanded by Ramon Berenguer III.
