Giacomo Clemente fu consigliere di Bergamo dal 1829 al 1844, assessore dal 1831 al 1842. Suo figlio il conte comm. avv. Alessio fu deputato al Parlamento per il collegio di Trescore Alzano, Sarnico, più volte segretario della Camera dei deputati e guardiano dell'Arci-Confratenita dei Bergamaschi in Roma. Luigi, fratello di Alessio, dottore in legge, fu membro della Congregazione in Carità, del Consiglio d'Amministrazione dell'Istituto Italiano Pio Azzanelli-Cedrelli, consigliere comunale di Bergamo (1893-1899) e giudice conciliatore.
