Dalla patria del capostipite, i suoi discendenti presero il cognome e godettero nobiltà in Catania, in Messina, etc.; possedendo un gran numero di feudi tra i quali notiamo: Arbiato, Santissima Annunziata, Buxalca, Bruca e Crisciunà, Castel d’Osimo, Fiumefreddo, Ramione, Toscano e Mandrile, Villallegra e San Todaro, Villarmosa e molti altri.
