Nobility crown TerrassaMuy antiguo linaje catalán. Es originario de la hoy ciudad de Tarrasa (Barcelona), cuyo nombre tomó por apellido. Berenguer T. fue uno de los esforzados catalanes que acompañaron a don Jaime I de Aragón en la conquista de Mallorca, siendo premiados sus valerosos servicios en el reparto general de tierras de aquella isla con el rahal "Abeniembran", de seis yugadas, en el distrito de Sineu. Una rama mallorquina de esta familia ya radicaba en la villa de Benisalem en mediados del siglo XIII, pues consta que en el año de 1250 poseían los T. allí una vasta hacienda. Otras ramas, también muy antiguas, radicaron en las villas de Inca, Artá, Pollensa y Alcudia. Bernardo Tarrasa, como representante de la villa de Inca, prestó homenaje y vasallaje al rey aragonés Alfonso III, en 1285. Y Andrés Tarrasa hizo igual juramento de obediencia y fidelidad al también rey de Aragón Pedro IV, en 1343, en representación de la villa de Sineu. En 1401 era jurado de la ciudad y reino de Mallorca Bernard Tarrasa, y síndico forense, en 1463, Luis Tarrasa. ...
