Nel 1525 un Andrea di Giovanni conseguì il titolo di conte e fu uno degli ambasciatori spediti dal patrio senato al Pontefice Clemente VII per ottenere la conferma del Collegio dei dottori. Andrea di Giacomo fu cavaliere aurato, ed un Bernardino cavaliere di S. Giorgio. Giovanni, ultimo di questa famiglia costituì erede universale nel 1820 Francesco del Cav.
