Nobility crown TronchetNoblesse chevaleresque qui apparaît vers 1175 avec Olivier Tronchet, témoin d'une donation faite à l'hôpital de St-Jean de Jérusalem du Puy. Bertrand Tronchet, damoiseau, vend en 1285, à l'évêque du Puy, le privilège des poids et mesures de Beauzac. Le même ets témoin, le 5 novembre 1295, du mariage de Clémence de la Roche-en Reynier avec Guillaume II de Chalencon. Il possédait en outre, un fief à Beauzac en 1308. Alice Tronchet, dame de Boucherolles, porta cette terre en mariage l'an 1308, à Armand de Rochebaron-Usson. On trouve encore possessionnées féodalement à Monistrol et à Mezères: noble Hugues Tronchet (1293-1309); Pierre Tronchet, damoiseau, seigneur d'Espinasse et d'Auliac, frère de noble Bertrand et fils de Hugues (1328-1344); Hugues II seigneur d'Espinasse, chanoine de Monistrol (1344). Autre Hugues, chanoine du Puy (1383), était procureur de Louis de Chalencon prévôt de ce chapitre en 1396. A une autre branche se rattachaient: noble Beraud Tronchet, seigneur de Vourse près Yssingeaux et de Salmoiras près Retournac en 1296 et 1308; noble Jean (1313); Guillaume, damoiseau (1343) et Jean II seigneur des mêmes fiefs (1364). Cette branche s'est fondue dans les de Prunet en 1383. ...
