Nobility crown TruchetAncienne noblesse. Nom patronymique: Rochette. Le fief de Truchet appartenait, en 1284, à plusieurs seigneurs et la haute justice se partageait entre le seigneur Brion et celui de Rochebonne. Garine avait épousé Guillaume de Fay, bailli du Vivarais et du Forez (1330). Mariette de Romières, veuve de Guillaume Rochette, écuyer, seigneur de Truchet, rendit hommage au seigneur de Rochebonne le 17 novembre 1350. Filiation depuis Guillaume Truchet (1519), dont le fils cadet, Jean, marié à Marguerite d'Allier, acquit la terre de Treslemont près Yssingeaux. Cet achat ayant été cassé par arrêt du parlement de Toulouse en date du 13 septembre 1560, Marguerite d'Allier racheta cette seigneurie que Gabriel, son fils vendit le 16 février 1578 à Mathieu de Souverain. Thomas, fils aîné de Guillaume, allié à Catherine de la Tour de Bains, fut le bisaïeul de Claude-François, marié le 23 janvier 1645 à Marguerite d'Arbalestier de Montclar dame de Beaufort, d'où: Florimond comte de Truchet, baron d'Esparron, seigneur de Borée, coseigneur de St-Agrève, etc. époux de Jeanne de Clavières, d'où trois filles en qui s'éteignit cette maison: 1° Jeanne Truchet de Chambarlhac, religieuse bénédictine à Vorey; 2° Madeleine mariée le 19 février 1732 à Charles-François-Elzéar marquis de Vogué, comte de Montclus, baron d'Aubenas; 3° Thérèse alliée le 10 novembre 1716 à François-Loup du Crozet, chevalier, seigneur de Cumignat, Javaugues, etc. Maintenue en Languedoc le 28 janvier 1669. Des hommes d'armes; un gentilhomme de la chambre du roi (1577). ...
