Nobility crown TurruteloEste apellido es muy extendido en la penísula con numerosas casas solariegas. Por referencias de historiadores de la época y otras averiguadas por Araldis en los archivos registrales de ciudades y otros privados, podríamos afirmar, pero no asegurar, que este escudo u otro muy similar a él, apareció inicialmente desde el siglo XI al XIV, particularmente en el concilio de León de 1020 en el que se reconocía la supremacía de la jurisdicción real sobre los nobles, también esta familia estuvo relacionada con el concilio de Coyanza de 1050 en que se confirmaron las resoluciones del anterior. Las referencias de esta familia parecen precisarse con más frecuencia desde el siglo XV al XIX en especial los hechos de la secretaria del duque de Osuna, que junto con el marqués de Villafranca y el marqués de Bedmar, prepara ron la "conjura de Venecia" para el 14 de Mayo de 1618, abortada por el aún no superado servicio de información de la Serenísima República de Venecia y su Consejo de los Diez. Todo ello parece coincidir con la memoria familiar de algunos de los miembros de la rama de la familia Turrutelo. ...
