Nobility crown VenerusoAntica ed illustre famiglia del Regno di Napoli, di chiara ed avita virtù, propagatasi, nel corso dei secoli, in diverse regioni d'Italia e del Mondo. Secondo quanto ci viene tramandato, essa ha tratto origine da un esponente del nobile casato genovese Venerosi che, portatosi, circa nel tardo XVI secolo, in Sicilia, avendo ivi ereditato alcuni appezzamenti feudali, decise di porvi la propria dimora. Nel tempo, a causa dei soliti fenomeni di modificazione fonetica dialettale, il cognome abbandonò l'originaria forma sino all'odierno Veneruso. I suoi discendenti, già Veneruso, dalla Sicilia si spostarono nel napoletano, dando origine alle tante linee ancora oggi fiorenti. Tal famiglia inoltre, nel dispiegarsi dei lustri, è sempre riuscita a distinguersi grazie agli elevati personaggi a cui ha dato i natali.
