Nobility crown VennaCoi diplomi in data 8 novembre 1737, Carlo Emanuele III, re di Sardegna, concedeva i privilegi di cavalierato e di nobiltà a favore di Giovanni Angelo Venna, dottore in leggi, della città di Oristano, con trasmissibilità ai suoi figli e discendenti per linea maschile. Col predetto diploma di cavalierato fu pure concesso l'uso dello stemma. Appartennero a questa nobile famiglia il capitano delle RR. Armate Don Giovanni Angelo Enna Borro, al quale il re Carlo Felice, con diploma del 26 ottobre 1830, conferì il titolo di conte trasmissibile a suoi figli e discendenti maschi in linea primogeniale e l'avvocato Don Antonio Venna, censore generale in Oristano, cui il re Carlo Alberto, con diploma dell'11 febbraio 1837, conferì il titolo di Barone, trasmissibile ai suoi figli ed ai suoi discendenti maschi per linea primogeniale.
