Nobility crown VernaisonBourgeoisie de Craponne où l'un de ses membres ètait notaire en 1511. Plusieurs sont compris dans le terrier d'Arlanc en 1528 et 1578. Anoblie par des charges de trésorier de France. De Claude Vernaison, marié à Clauda Faure, naquit Blaise, pourvu par Henri IV d'une charge de secrétaire du roi, puis trésorier général des finances en la généralité de Blois. Jacques devint secrétaire du roi en 1584 et autre Jacques en 1599. Pierre chevalier (fils d'autre Pierre receveur des consignations à Riom), acquit en cette ville la charge de trésorier de France. Il est dit, en 1684 et 1701, coseigneur d'Artonne et de Jullianges et s'allia à Gabrielle Desgranges d'où: 1° Pierre, conseiller du roi, chevalier, trésorier de France (1680), marié à Madeleine-Thérèse de Combes et père d'Amable-François, trésorier de France (1716), qui laissa de Jeanne Deydier une fille: Antoinette, alliée le 15 mars 1732 à François Rehès de Sampigny d'Issoncourt, marquis d'Effiat; 2° Amable, conseiller du roi, lieutenant des eaux et forêts, marié Gabrielle de Forget, d'où postérité éteinte dans les Teillard de Montclard et les de Benoit de Chassignols. ...
