On rencontre sous ce nom: Felix, né à Paris le 3 septembre 1613, d'une bonne noblesse de robe d'Issoire, remontant à 1540 et aujourd'hui éteinte. Il était fils de Michel seigneur de la Forêt de Herse, conseiller du roi au parlement de Paris, président aux requêtes, et de Charlotte de Ligni de Rentier. Devenu en 1640 abbé de Pébrac, Félix unit cette abbaye aux chanoines réguliers de France et n'ayant que 27 ans, fut nommé coadjuteur de l'évêché de Châlons-sur-Marne, dont il devint peu après titulaire. On a de ce prélat, mort le 10 juin 1680, de nombreux écrits de doctrine chrétienne. Sa famille a en outre donné à l'Eglise, un archevêque de Bourges (1572) et un général des Feuillans, évêque d'Avranches (1640). A ce nom, on attribue un signe distinctif de noblesse représenté par le blason que l'on reproduit ci-dessous et qui confirme aussi à travers ses emblêmes, au point de vue historique et héraldique, l'assurance d'une valeur remarquable.
