Nobility crown VidaDe Mallorca. Berenguer V. y sus hemanos se hallaron en la conquista de Mallorca. El apellido se extendió por aquel reino y sus individuos poseyeron importantes vínculos que pasaron a las familias de los Fortuny y de los Truyols. Luis V. y Rossinyol ingresó en la Orden de San Juan de Jerusalén en 1606. Tuvo este apellido su casa solar en Mallorca. Muchos linajes de este apellido probaron su nobleza en las Órdenes de Santiago, Calatrava, Alcántara, Montesa, (corporaciones nacidas para luchar contra los moros, cooperando a la Reconquista, y asegurar el orden, protegiendo a los peregrinos y desvalidos), Carlos III y San Juan de Jerusalén (es una orden religiosa militar fundada en el siglo XI); numerosas veces en las Reales Chancillería de Valladolid y Granada, en la Real Compañía de Guardias Marinas y en la Real Audiencia de Oviedo. Los de Mallorca traen por armas: De gules, una concha de plata. Otros traen: Cortado. Primero: En oro, un león rampante de gules y segundo: En gules, cinco veneras de plata, puestas en aspa y saliendo de cada una un busto de mujer vestida de sinople; medio partido de sinople, con una torre de piedra, acompañada de tres flores de lis de oro una arriba y otra cada lado. Otros: En plata, una banda de gules acompañda en lo alto de un cabeza de sierpe, de sinople. ...
