Un Luigi Voli, ufficiale di Artiglieria, figlio dell'avvocato e presidente di tribunale Stefano e di Adele Charrier, per elargizioni di beneficenza all'Istituto per le Figlie dei Militari di Torino, venne creato conte con R.D. motu proprio 24 dicembre 1899 e successive RR.LL.PP. 5 luglio 1900. Con R.D. 3 maggio 1900 ottenne la concessione dell'arma. Sposò Luigi (1871) Alix in cavaliere Vincenzo Denina e da queste nozze nacquero: Adele (n. Torino 10 settembre 1872), che sposò (1898) il conte Warmondo Barattieri di S. Pietro, Stefania (n. Torino 17 giugno 1884) che sposò (1904) Fernando di Edoardo Scarampi di Villanova; Paola (n. Torino, 11 giugno 1886) che sposò (1908) il nobile Vittorio dei conti Casana, ed Emilio (n. Torino 22 settembre 1889). La famiglia è iscritta nel Libro d'Oro della Nobiliare Italiano e nell'Elenco Ufficiale Nobiliare Italiano col titolo di conte (mpr) in persona di Emilio, di Luigi, di Stafno. Sorelle: Adele in Barattieri di S. Pietro, Stefania i Scarampi di Villanova, Paola, in Casana. Motto della famiglia: Altius tendo. ...
