Nobility crown ZambellibuzzoAntica ed illustre famiglia, detta Zambelli o Zambello, i cui membri, provenienti da Lonato, si stabilirono in Brescia. Quivi ricoprirono cariche ed ottennero la cittadinanza bresciana, il 2 maggio 1722: Benedetto e fratelli, figli di Andrea q. Giovanni Maria e della Nobil Donna Giulia Rampinelli. Il citato Benedetto si sposò con Maria Girardi, dalla quale ebbe, nel 1732, Giovani Andrea, che sposò Giulia Pescati e generò Ottavio, n. 8 dicembre 1764. Questi, assieme al fratello, presentò la supplica ed ottenne nel 1790 di venire ascritto al Consiglio Generale di Brescia; sposò Marianna Arrigo. Ebbe tre figli: Pietro, (1799); Angelo, (1798-1879) il quale dalla moglie Vittoria Bonetti generò Pietro, morto senza discendenza (1845-1915); Giovanni (n. 1805) marito della nob. Margherita Conter dalla quale nacque Elisabetta (1833-1904). Con la morte di Elisabetta, questa famiglia si ritiene estinta.
