Nobility crown ZuccaLa famiglia Zucca è assai antica e nobile, detta Zucca o Zucco è originaria del territorio di Bergamo, numerosi personaggi di tale cognome, si trovano di sovente menzionati nei documenti notarili fin dai secoli trascorsi, dai quali appare che erano di condizione nobile. Vari rami della casata si propagarono in diverse regioni d'Italia, prevalentemente in Sardegna. Annovera questa illustre casata personaggi di elevate virtù, Antonio giudice collegiato nel 1566 e nel 1575 vicario della casa dei mercanti. Lodovico, suo pronipote, chiarissimo giureconsulto, nel 1648 fu ascritto al Collegio dei giudici e quindi nunzio a Venezia. Nel 1532 questa casa ottenne di essere aggregata al Consiglio nobile di Verona, e l'ultimo dei Zucca che vi appartenne fu Giulio-Cesare nel 1728.
