ABLONDI

Ablondi is typical of the Parma area, of Calestano and Parma, it could derive from an altered dialectal form of the name Abbondio (see ABBONDI), but the most probable thing is that it derives instead from an Italianization of the medieval Germanic name Ablund, probably brought by the progenitor.
